The tour will be delivered by the UK's only qualified tourist guides - the internationally respected BLUE BADGE registered / fully insured / Institute of Tourist Guiding qualified guides....

The guide will take you on a walk around the main sites of Bath and because this is a 4 hour experience, the pace is perhaps a little more relaxed than if opting for a shorter tour. That said, with this tour, the intension is to show you some of the best places to visit, but which are normally out of reach if booking the usual 2 hour tours, so be prepared not only to look in wonder and to hear the stories connected with these places, but also to work up an appetite as we will cover some ground. However, don't worry as we will try our best to ensure we find a coffee / rest-room stop mid-way around!

On the walk we chat about any or all of the following - architecture, history, landscapes, culture, industry, heritage / transportation, sport, legends, literally figures and no doubt much more.

Remember though, sensible walking shoes are a must, as is the usual umbrella and rain stopper! 

Bath is situated in a valley and at some point we are al bound to go a slope sometimes, and some of them are very steep, however, any slope we attempt will be gentle and not too difficult.

A half day walk with us should be seen as the perfect balance between the introductory 2 hour walks and full day experience of around 8 hours. Also, with the half day walk, we'll probably take a look inside one or two of the buildings (that do not charge, but may suggest a voluntary contribution) if open, such as Bath Abbey. Please note that where an entry fee contribution is suggested, this is not included in the price.
